Hey friend,
I’ve been coordinating Playgroup for five years this year. I know this because my middle baby, who was three months old when I took over, is about to turn five in August. (I’m not crying, it’s just raining on my face).
Every single year since I took over Playgroup, I’m surprised when Term 2 needs to finish a week earlier than the roster because all the private schools finish a week earlier than public schools. I write the Playgroup roster according to the public school schedule because my kids are in a public school.
You would think that I’d remember this vital piece of information by now, seeing as most of my team have kids in private schools. I want to blame having a third baby. Buuuuuut apparently this fact has not migrated to my brain as it’s been every year for five years now. Sorry.
TLDR: No playgroup this Thursday. My apologies. Please let any irregular email checker friends know.
